Barrhead Family Clinic has two exciting opportunities for full-time employment. We are recruiting 2 patient care coordinators. The ideal candidates will have, at minimum, a high school diploma. Preference will be given to those with college certification/diploma and training in the medical field or related field of study. Knowledge of medical terminology, experience with Electronic Medical Records (Telus MedAccess or similar), excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, strong analytical thinking, the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and the ability to work in a high paced/high stress environment. Duties will include, but not be limited to booking patient appointments, coordinating patient referrals, maintaining patient files and patient education.
