Steyr-Mannlicher M95/30 Carbine 8x56mmR

Howdy Townpost. I have a nice old Austrian carbine for sale here.

It's a Steyr 1918 produced example so tale end of WWI. The barrel and receiver are matching originals and everything else is forcematched from when these carbines were reworked in the 1930's. This particular example is a Bulgarian rework. 

The rifle is chambered in the longer and later 8x56mmR cartridge as per the 1930's reworks not the original 8x50mmR.

This rifle is a true carbine with carbine rear sight and handguard cuts. So it started it's life as a carbine or short rifle rather than being a cut down rifle. 

The bore is fair with some wear and some frosting (pictured), there's definitely a lot of life left in the bore.

The carbine is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short and light so it should be relatively cheap to ship.
