Registered Appaloosa Mare Located near Camrose
We bought her as a young horse for our daughter, and she has been part of our family for several years. She did go through a few months of professional training when she was younger to work through some bucking issues, which took a little extra time.
She can be a really sweet horse — friendly, pretty, and an easy keeper. Some days she will happily let the kids hop on bareback and ride around the fields. However, she can also be unpredictable at times and has randomly bucked the kids off, so we want to be fully honest about that. She did best when our daughter was working with her consistently and lunging her beforehand.
We have several children, but the daughter we originally bought her for is no longer with us, and it’s become difficult to give this mare the consistency and attention she deserves. She’s beautiful out in the pasture and we would love to see her go somewhere she can be worked with regularly and appreciated.
She is approximately 8 years old, papered, and originally from Dauphin, Manitoba. She is black with traditional Appaloosa coloring and has a heart-shaped marking on her face that we’ve always loved.
She has been around cattle, kids, sheep, and goats.
I don’t know absolutely everything about horses, so I’ll answer questions as best I can. Open to serious inquiries only.
