RR’s form strong bonds with their owners and want to always be with their pack. Positive reinforcement of high-value treats for healing, stopping, and sitting can encourage better leash behaviour. Teach a Ridgeback to ask permission (by sitting) to go and sniff or to veer off the planned route.
