My heart dog died almost 2 years ago.
She was my best friend. My co-pilot, always in the front seat next to me in the truck.
She saved me, more than once.
But, we live on a farm by the highway and well, I'm sure you can guess what happened.
I had her from 8 weeks old till she passed away at 11 months old.
I was so excited for her first birthday.
That dog was hella spoiled lol
But I think I've gotten to a point where I feel like I'm ready for another best friend.
I'm open to giving a home to a dog who is:
1.Good with kids. I have a 8 month old, 20 month old, a 7 yr old and a 13 the yr old.
2.Self confident. I like brave dogs over skittish ones.
3.Good with other dogs. We do have a senior pitbull. He may be old but he's got a lot of play in him left.
4.Female ONLY, old pitbull mentioned above does not get along with other males
5.Short haired.
6.Medium sized
7.Would prefer a younger dog but will consider an adult. No seniors.
8. A dog that's chill but can keep up with a quad or electric bike.
A bit about my self:
I've grown up with dogs all my life, first volunteering at Tailz doggy daycare in Edmonton at the age of 12. Shortly after that, I began a 5 year apprenticeship under the professional dog groomer and k9 behaviouralist trainer that worked there.
I have retired now from grooming and training professionally but I do still work with dogs of friends and family.

Thanks in advance to everyone who replies!
