Seldom listed for sale, original high condition case hardened Winchester model 1886 with octagon barrel in 40-82 cal made in 1893. The caliber was favoured by elk and heavy game hunters. Has a crisp clean action with excellent bore and rifling. This is a vintage Winchester for serious collectors who want an honest rifle that hasn’t been taken apart and original screws not messed with or fudged.
