Selling/trading a Gew 98 Sporter in 8x57. Overall it's in good shape. Amburg 1917 crest on the receiver, S/42 stamped barrel, non numbers matching. Steel has been done in black and has some normal fading/chipping in the finish. Stock is in good shape, normal marks and scuffs throughout. Has some duct tape residue on the butt. Top handguard is not original. Missing butt plate. Bore is in shootable shape. Comes toped with iron sights. Looking for $395 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades.
