Belgian Webley RIC-Style Revolver – .455 / .450 Webley
455 Webley Revolver Firearms Handgun
I am offering a very nice Belgian-made Webley RIC-style revolver chambered in .455 / .450 Webley. This revolver is a Belgian copy of the famous Royal Irish Constabulary-style Webley revolvers and features beautiful engraving, classic Victorian styling, and strong collector appeal.
Condition & Mechanics: The revolver functions properly in both single and double action. Trigger pull is smooth and the revolver feels very solid overall. Timing and general mechanics are good, making this both an attractive display piece and a potentially enjoyable shooter.
Finish & Appearance:
• Beautiful engraved finish throughout
• Excellent-looking gutta-percha grips
• Strong antique character and visual appeal
• Displays extremely well as a collector’s piece
Proof Marks & Authenticity:
• Marked with pre-1893 Liège Belgian proof marks
• Cylinder bears proof marks showing it was proof tested
• Definitively antique and legally recognized as such
Caliber & Ammunition:
• Chambered in .450 Webley
• .455 Webley brass fits nicely
• .455 Webley round nose flat point ammunition fits and functions well
• Ammunition and brass are still available online
Collector Appeal: These Belgian RIC-style revolvers are increasingly hard to find, especially engraved examples with attractive grips and strong mechanics. This is a beautiful late-1800s big-bore revolver with real historical presence.
Important Notice: This firearm is being sold as an antique. Before attempting to fire any antique firearm, always have it inspected by a qualified gunsmith. Buyer assumes all responsibility after purchase.
Legal Note: This is a pre-1898 antique firearm and may be legally owned and discharged anywhere a non-restricted firearm is permitted in accordance with Canadian law.
