American MK11 Pineapple Hand Grenade INERT

Now here is the real meal deal that you NEVER find for sale in Canada. It's not Resin, it's not 3D it's not a practice grenade.....it's the real thing! An American Army MK11 "Pineapple" Inert Hand Grenade. NO BS....you don't find or cannot purchase from the USA, this item. Lots of replicas...but practically non existant real ones. This is a "battle find" relic. The original finish has worn off, but you can paint it if you want (not advised). This is one of the earlier WW11 Grenades when they were painted bright yellow to identify them as High Explosive. You can see just a tiny fraction of the yellow still left on the grenade (see photo). From 1943 onwards, the grenades were painted olive drab green to avoid being so obvious in battle. A small yellow ring was painted around the top of the body to identify the grenade as high explosive. The fuse is labelled as an M10A3 (see photo) which was a 4.5 to 5.3 second fuse. The MK11 Grenade was invented in 1918 based on a French Grenade and was standardized in 1920 as official American ordinance. This style of grenade went through action throughout WW11, Korea and Vietnam until it was finally retired in 1969. This is a one time chance. Shipping is by private shipper and not Canada Post!
