Is seeking an individual to fill a temporary laundry position .63 FTE located in our facility at the Spruce View Lodge in Whitecourt.

Laundry – Temporary Laundry Position .63 FTE

Description: Directly reporting to the Site Manager, the Laundry personnel is accountable for: Personal and Site Laundry Services, Safety and Security. This position entails a high level of interaction with our Residents.    

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

·         Demonstrates an understanding of generally accepted commercial cleaning practices

·         High School Diploma                                    

·         WHMIS

·         Level 4 Criminal Record Check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Spruce View Lodge is a fast-paced environment with many repetitive tasks. The position can be physically demanding and attention to detail is important. This position requires a combination of standing & walking throughout the shifts.

Personal Suitability

The applicant must show initiative, effective interpersonal skills, flexibility and be a Team player. Excellent oral communication, Resident focus, interpersonal awareness, dependability, judgement, values and ethics; reliability as well as organizational skills are an asset.
