Look at this beautiful 1943 numbers matching to the breach and bolt handle. The stock is in high condition with very few marks at all. Also comes with a Canadian marked 1943 canvas battle sling. Markings are faint, but there. Metal retains good finish. Four is shiny and clean, but I would say good to fair condition. A small LB is also present on the front band. This would make an excellent addition to any collection. Everything operates as it should. Also comes with 1943 dated Canadian marked action cover. This one has no military marks. Comes with web sling. $500.00 Bottom Cooey Model 82 was a single shot bolt-action .22 caliber target rifle intended for use in training Canadian Army and RCAF cadets during WWII. This Military Cooey Model 82 trainer from WW2 was used for drilling purposes, target shooting, Home Guard and Cadet training.There is a Stock Number and C broad arrow on the bottom of the pistol grip and a crest on the top of the receiver. The bolt also has the C broad arrow. Nice walnut stock with minor marks on the stock as can be expected on a training rifle. This rifle does not have a peep sight and was used as a training rifle for the Lee En-field No 1's. Bluing is very good bore is excellent. Comes with web sling $550.00.

Length: SMLE No. 1 Mk III: 44.57 in (1,132 mm) Barrel length: SMLE No. 1 Mk III: 25.2 in (640 mm) In late 1915 the Mk III* was introduced incorporating several changes, the most prominent of which were the deletion of the magazine cut-off mechanism, which when engaged permits the feeding and extraction of single cartridges only while keeping the cartridges in the magazine in reserve, and the long-range volley sights. The windage adjustment of the rear sight was also dispensed with, and the cocking piece was changed from a round knob to a serrated slab. Rifles with some or all of these features present are found, as the changes were implemented at different times in different factories and as stocks of parts were depleted. The magazine cut-off was reinstated after the First World War ended, and not entirely dispensed with in manufacturing until 1933. Selling/trading an 1862 Enfield Snider rifle inn .577 Snider. These were modified rifles carried by the Metis as "Blanket Guns" during the Red River and Northwest Rebellions associated with Louis Riel. Based on the ornate decoration and configuration of the rifle, this would have been a period correct gun of that time. Barrel is a smoothbore. Wood stocks shows normal wear for its age but is in good solid shape. Steel has patina'd and shows well. Action has some play in it, hammer is cocked slightly to the left. A very unique piece. No PAL required, just proof of age. Would suggest having this gone over by a gunsmith prior to firing. Looking for $995 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades.
