Despite its original high cost, it was regarded as a fine and valuable weapon by both shooting competitors and hunters. Selling/trading a Remington Model 1900 12 gauge side by side. Overall it's in good shape. Made in 1903, 30" barrels, 2 5/8" chambers, fixed chokes, with ejectors, hammerless. Barrels are made of Damascus steel and cannot handle modern ammunition, lighter blackpowder loads only. Steel is all in good shape, has some brazing repairs along the underside of the the barrels and one braze mark on the top of the rib. Barrels have some small dents along them. Wood stocks are in good shape, normal marks and dings throughout, one pin through the wrist and a repaired crack on the forestck. Bores are in good shape. Looking for $395 shipped.
