This revolver is commonly used with .32 sw longs, although the cases may bulge. S&B .32 longs is not recommended as the case rims are smaller than normal and may cause light strikes, all other brands are functional. The revolver itself is in very good condition, lockup and timing are tight. The bore is shiny as most of these revolvers are. Bluing is in good shape. This isn’t like any bought normally; it’s not sectioned or layered, a full opal polished to fit the 14k gold ring which is quite thick, heavy, you can see its authenticity by the red stone backing proving just on that aspect alone. Its fairly thick but they come in all shapes and sizes this one is a small/medium rating but it’s an A+ top quality gem on its own and may even be worth more than the gold in the ring itself. It cost me a good amount to get it all custom done which I was a part of the entire creation process. Its large about 12-13 size can be adjusted. It’s encased and mostly enclosed by a square raised section of the rings complete shank in one piece by a square top raised cushion setting. I don’t particularly want to part with this unless a good offer as on auction or selling to a pawn shop/jeweler could get more than I paid for it years ago.
