Photo of Custom-Made Ithaca M37 Featherlight "Stakeout" Sawed-Off 12 Gauge 2¾ Shotgun
$700
Custom-Made Ithaca M37 Featherlight "Stakeout" Sawed-Off 12 Gauge 2¾ Shotgun
Howdy there Townpost! I have another custom 12 Gauge delight for you to take a gander at! This is a custom-made one of a kind Ithaca M37 Featherlite put together by my gunsmith for me. As pictured, the overall length is 30 inches long and has a barrel length of 18.5 inches. It weighs 5 lbs, 7oz unloaded, so Featherlight is definitely even more apt than this when this thing was full length. Some fairly extensive work was done. Most notably the barrel and stock were cut down and reshaped the muzzle crown was nicely dressed with file work and reblued and it's nice, smooth and square to the barrel. The original red Ithaca fibreoptic front bead site was reinstalled at the new muzzle. The stock bolt with shortened and a nice decorative cast pewter medallion was added to the butt of the stock to cover up the bolt hole and add very nice piece of decorative flair. And sling swivels were added so this can carried around on sling. The action is very smooth the action release locks up properly, and the spring on it is in good condition. And it slam fires without a problem. What is slam fire you may ask? It means you can hold down the trigger and work the action and every time you close the action with the trigger held down the gun will fire. The gun will fire as fast as you can work the action. So needless to say it's pretty fun to shoot.  This would make an excellent hiking, camping or backpacking shotgun for predator defense in my opinion. Or if she just want a sawed-off shotgun that you can slam fire this is the gun for you. Ithaca started making short versions of the M37 for law enforcement called the Stakeout I believe those were mostly in 20 gauge and they came out sometime in the 70s or '80s. Inland Manufacturing to this day makes something similar to this called the Stakeout II for the US market with an MSRP of $750US. Short versions of the M37 have appeared in a lot of media, probably most notably is the shotgun in the movie Aliens where it's used for "close encounters". There's a well documented cut down Ithaca Featherweight by a Navy SEAL who put a duckbill spreader on it, put a magazine tube extension so that it held 8 and cut the stock off in much the fashion that this one is. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's very short when broken down, and light so it should be cheap to ship. PAL is a must!

Chiappa LA322 TakeDown Lever Action Carbine, 22 lr, 920.383 The lever-action 22LR is an American classic. Chiappa continues this legacy by using modern technology and materials to produce the LA322. This beautiful rimfire is as attractive as it is functional. Accurate, quick handling and rapid shooting, the LA322 embodies all the qualities that Americans want in a lever-action rifle. A 3/8in dovetail is machined into the top of the receiver for optics. Another coveted feature is the take down design for easy transport and storage. SKU: 920.383 EAN: 8053670717282 Type of Gun: Rifle Caliber: 22 Long Rifle Action: Lever-Action Barrel Length: 18.5″ (470 mm) Capacity: 15 Feed In: Magazine Tube Trigger System: Single Stock: English Style Wood Forend: English Style Wood Front Sight: Fixed Tunnel Rear Sight: Adjustable Elevation & Windage Buckhorn Style Safety: Half Cock Hammer Weight: 5.52 lbs Length: 35.5″ (902 mm) Material: Alloy Frame / Steel Barrel Finish: Blued Lever Style: Standard Extraction: Auto Ejection FAMILY OWNED – SINCE 1958 – MADE IN ITALY The History A curious nature, a passion for firearms and a love for challenges have always guided our path at Chiappa Firearms. There will always be another challenge to take on and we’ll not be afraid to play the game. The history of Chiappa Firearms began in 1958, when Ezechiele (Oscar) Chiappa opened his company and called it Armi Sport. Initially an artisanal workshop, the company has grown over the years to become an industrial group, still wholly owned by the Chiappa family. Chiappa includes the companies Chiappa Firearms S.r.l. (defense, sporting and replica firearms), KIMAR (blank and signal guns), ACP (training systems), Costa S.r.l. (surface treatment of metals) and Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd. (USA’s distribution center). The success story of the Chiappa derives from a combination of factors, among which are a great technical experience matured over 60 years; ability, the courage and entrepreneurial spirit of the President Rino Chiappa, and the total dedication to work of the whole Chiappa family. These capabilities have lead Chiappa to a series of winning choices, focusing on technological advancement, on understanding and meeting the needs of the market while constantly introducing new models, but also offering accuracy and continued support to customers. All stages of production are carried out entirely within the company. The manufacturing process begins with the design of the 3D model, followed by the realization of prototypes and the transfer of data to CNC machines. Through specific CAM software, the machining equipment is able to produce any component in a very short time taking instructions directly from the 3D drawings. Order and organization are common to all factory departments: the workshop with numerical control machines (CNC) for the processing of components machined from solid steel such as receivers and breeches, or for the realization of all types of stocks and other small parts; manufacturing of barrels; die casting and molding of plastic material; ovens and equipment for heat treatment; surface treatment, such as bluing, parkerizing, nickel plating, as well as equipment for grinding and polishing of metal and wood components. The entire manufacturing process is managed and coordinated by a computer system that encompasses all steps of production. This system allows for a thorough control of the execution time, thus keeping production costs tightly monitored. Finally, all firearms are visually inspected and test fired in the shooting range built inside the company before being brought to the packaging area. Thanks to the experience of the personnel, the tradition of artisan craftsmanship cohabits with a modern organization within the same factory, fostering maximum efficiency. Chiappa manufactures a wide range of models. The catalog includes replicas of American historic weapons and muzzleloaders, lever action shotguns and rifles, handguns and rifles in .17 and .22 rimfire, sporting and self defense handguns such as the famous Rhino, signal guns and air guns. As a direct result of the optimization of the manufacturing process, all Chiappa products are an excellent value. Chiappa today is a rapidly developing, constantly evolving corporation. The great capacity to innovate with flexibility and dynamism, the wide range of products and the excellent value for the consumer have allowed Chiappa to spread sales in 60 countries, being fully able to compete with the biggest companies in the world.

Photo of 0.430" Lee Bullet Lubricating and Sizing Kits

0.430" Lee Bullet Lubricating and Sizing Kits
This is the easiest and cheapest way to size and lube the bullets as there is no nose punch needed and no special separate press.  You can use your standard single stage press.  Note that Lee no longer includes the ALOX lube in their kits.  Mine have the ALOX lube included.  From the Lee Precision website I stole the following quote: Fastest and easiest way to size cast bullets. Standard 7-8x14" threads fit any single stage reloading press. Bullets are pushed through the sizing die nose first, so no special nose punches are needed. Gas checks are automatically seated and crimped in place. Sized bullets are captured in the special container. Intended for use on single stage presses only. The push through punch is used in place of a shell holder in the ram. To crimp gas checks with the lube and size kit, first lubricate the bullets with liquid alox (sold separately), push a gas check on the base of the bullet and set the bullet on the punch. When the bullet is pushed through the sizing die, the bullet will be sized, and the gas check will be crimped on. For cast bullets, you want to select a sizing kit to be .001" larger than groove diameter. Ebay has these for $60 + $40 shipping.   Amazon: w/o lube for $40 - $90  and lube is $25 extra.  Located in Radisson Heights, Calgary  Or ship by Canada Post Flat Rate boxes.   Fill them up as much as possible up to 5kg.: 24.1 x 16.5 x 8.9cm.   $20 35 x 26 x 5cm.              $23 39 x 26 x 12cm.            $26 40 x 30 x 19cm.            $35 Will combine as much as possible to minimize shipping costs, including other classifieds I have posted. Cheers, Cody
