The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly without play. The bore of the 5-inch barrel is very good, with sharp rifling and mirror bright. The rosewood grips are very good and undamaged. They look like they may have been re-varnished once. SN 59474, very good overall. History & Background Horace Smith and Daniel Baird Wesson acquired Rollin White’s patent (1855) for the bored-through cylinder to manufacture what they originally called the No. 1 revolver in .22 rim fire. It proved to be a rather ineffective little pocket revolver but was nonetheless very popular with civilians as a personal protective weapon. In 1861, just as the civil war gained momentum, S&W decided that they needed a larger caliber revolver in order to be able to convince the buying public (many of them enlisted in the war) that their gun was a viable protective option and as a back-up gun in battle. The scaled-up design was duly named the No. 2 and was nicknamed the “Army”, as it was widely used by military personnel as a personal side arm. Smith & Wesson retained and defended the Rollin White patent aggressively throughout the civil war period, and until its expiry in 1870, and therefore the No. 2 “Army” would be the only American made cartridge revolver used during this conflict (although several “unlicensed” makers added their wares into the fray, such as Uhlinger, Pond and Moore). The model is called “Old Model” due to its frame shape – the square butt and octagonal barrel of the model 1 ½ First Issue, as compared to the bird’s head grip and round barrel of the Second Issue. There is no “New Model” Army. The "No. 2 Old Model" was a popular personal side arm of many officers in the Union forces during the American Civil War, and is also known as the "Army" model. It was first introduced in 1861, and made until about 1874. The "No. 2" refers to the frame size, "No. 1" having been the first, .22 caliber pocket revolver and the "No. 3"'s being the large-frame revolvers. The 1 1/2 was introduced after the number 2, and since it fits in between the no. 1 and no. 2, it was named the no. 1 1/2. The no. 2 was owned by such famous Americans as General George Armstrong Custer and "Wild Bill" Hickok, the marshal of Deadwood...

This 12g is in good shape for being made around 1907. It’s made by Marlin for the National Fire Arms Co and is identical to an 1898 model Marlin for TakeDown steps. Some say it’s a Model 21 Marlin. We have left the investigation to the new owner as well as the safety to shoot this nearly 120 year old shotgun is your responsibility. There is an old wrist repair that was well done and still solid. Make a great display piece, and comes with 1 brass 12g case with primer. Has a great patina on receiver, 50% blue remains on barrel. This is a cool take down gun with a 30” barrel and is a true piece of History!

This old Mauser 71/84 which is more commonly known as the Mauser 43 (11.15 x 60mmR) is an all original beauty. All numbers matching even down to the smallest screw. Only thing missing is the forward sling swivel. What a great old gun to shoot. Imagine the challenge of taking a deer with this thing. I will include 10 original BP rounds with this gun as well. 12 ga. double barrel, side by side, shotgun. manufactured by P [Paul] Webley] & Son of Shaftsbury Avenue London England. This firearm was manufactured before the manufacturer changed its name to Webley & Scott in 1897. 2.75 in. chambers. fixed chokes. double triggers. internal hammers. automatic safety. Hawkins recoil pad. double bead sight. All metal parts including the rib and both barrels are covered in intricate beautiful engraving. Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered. Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. Stock has a few scratches and dents but no cracks. There is a small hairline crack on the upper right side of the fore stock. price includes an interesting looking old worn leather take down carrying case and a vintage cleaning kit in an old wooden box. more photos available on request. the shotgun was not stored in the leather carrying case.

12 ga. double barrel side by side shotgun. Made by G [George] Bate a famous English gunmaker from Birmingham England. double triggers. double exposed hammers. 2.5 inch chambers. all the metal parts of the firearm are covered with delicate intricate engraving. the barrels appear to be Damascus steel. There is no serial number from the manufacturer. There is a serial number sticker from the Canadian Firearms Registry on the side of the receiver from when the firearm was registered under the now defunct long gun registry. all old firearms records for this gunmaker were destroyed in the 1940's when the factory was bombed in WWII. The gun was made between the 1890's and the 1920's. G Bate Maker, changed its name to G Bate Ltd in the 1920's. in the 1990's the name was changed to Bate & Cross [Gunmaker] Ltd. it has been well cared for. there is no rust and no pitting. the wooden stock has some scratches and dents but is not cracked. it has not been fire for many decades.

WANTED( not by fhe “man”): to buy or sell gold old silver US/bullion valuables straight cash for single action/double action old antique six shootet styles or others for example the Peacemaker types and any others in good condition but need any sold to be compatible with current ammos in centerfire type rounds however it’s possible that it would need to come disabled ie without the pin installed to be actually legal also if it’s not registrable than it is grandfathered already and am willing to take any of these kinds off someone who has one they either had handed down or don’t want as I’m a collector of not just arms but relics and antiques that often get sold and hidden by museums or end up lost in some landfill or at best a hidden collection this is specifically meant to be for my family business as anything of that age and from historically permitted period percussion arms are a big part of my grandfathers original business as are shipwreck memorabilia. Most of these are over 100 years old anyway but the ammo should be relarively the same and purchasable. As modern specific arms currently have embargoes, though the laws will likely change and get better once our corrupt dictatorship is gone. With resignations owners and shops are essentially just waiting for the laws to change back or get even better just an fyi. i spoke to shop owners and gunsmiths directly who know more than most about the situation. I will only take direct trades and im not gonna transfer funds first to some scammer - and I need to see the quality also various calibers are still allowed and there are legal ways of transferring many older hand arms. The embargo is based on the recent makes not the caliber necessarily. I know the laws and am not interested in debating what is what because I already learned many times over what is still doable and allowed… Looking to buy or sell gold old silver US/bullion trade of valuables straight cash or both for older styles of single/action semiauto or double action revolvers ie Peacemaker colts are top of my list and single action is preferred in long or shorter barrel but decent enough calibers in other makes that are reliable enough to hunt with and yeah people hunt with good single actions due to accuracy and taking time, but for now its for safety in large property and target shooting obviously however i am also interested in short arms like the ranch hands with a full stock minimum and with a good ring/swivel or carry system even a decent strap w/quick release and back/side holster and belt or inner chest holster for for any antique or upgraded revolvers throughout 38/357 preferably for the smaller arms may be up for the classic .45 pissibly newer type semis in 9/45 …it all depends on what is good & you are willing to part with or have to sell/trade that is interesting though the older the better as a collector, grandfathered is again most preferred if its nonscript while still restricted there are still protections for us around that, used condition is fine as long as its a solid arm with no missing parts or kinks, bumps bruises scratches are fine within reason given character. ive been a Sr Cybersec and international investigator for 20+ years in the private sectors but worked closely with Dallas Sheriffs/S.S./FBI field offices and others like Interpol. due to my work and as much as they tell us it isnt a right in Canada its only because they twist our Charter around just because it doesn't specifically mention GUN protection at arms could mean stick and that is our governments ba argument remember that it is your right, besides you always lose your best ones on fishing trips they just fall into the lake constantly its crazy how that keeps happening to me. They are suppose to be infallible and yet gov. seem to have violated almost every single line in our Charter when it comes to just living. Firstly I barely remember how to even play MTG let alone what the fk World of Warcraft game cards are. What I can say and do know is these were just received by me and I own them now as part of a family estate sale unfortunately so it legally did cost me and notary and having greedy parents and siblings isn’t fun frankly I didn’t even want these things but it was insisted in a will and I know somethings like these need to be properly protected and stored to be of any value and I don’t even trust what little family I left to do that.Digressing before I take these to some sweaty cardshop and either ask the employees at the place what they are worth get lied to and told “10 bux.” Or throw me a booster pack of Pokemans cards then display some random card I have for $3,000 in a 4 bolt locked case like I’m an NPC in TCG Manager or better yet ask the nerds in the store playing in sweaty 90 hour tournaments I figured I would check online first and I was told that FB marketplace is often the hip thing todo these days (what do I know I was 10 years old when Magic the Gathering came out and haven’t played last since I was like 12 which was like 1996: there are (and I’m guessing here) at least 300 to several hundred Magic cards and when I checked about 8 random cards there might be some World of Warcraft cards mixed in though I was told this is limited and I didn’t even know Wizards of the Coast made a WoW card game. These are seemingly in mint or near mint condition as I was also told this and my previous family member owner was OCD about that stuff it seems like a couple also have plastic sleeves with support backings to not bend or so the cards are extra protected. Now while I also have no clue in hell what any of these are worth by looking at them even if I checked all of them I would guess wrong. I know they were apparently from booster packs whatever that means. And they are 100% unsearched unchecked and unappraised aside from the ones I used in the pics and 2 random WoW cards I pulled out last night and apparently have been kept in this 2 foot cardboard shoe box full basically end to end and that seems to me like several hundred cards. I don’t know but I do remember the original graphics on the back of the cards which are there, I don’t know but my family member who is no longer around had more than this but sold them or something and may have kept the most valuable and possibly the original non reprinted versions that came out originally if that’s the case they gotta be worth something so anyone who is looking for a box full of Magic the Gathering and some extras in apparent mint condition/protected that might at least give you a more than good chance of finding a rare and valuable card missing from your collection or this box being worth a few hundred to a few grand. Its your lucky day? Again myself nor anyone else who knew my family remember nor did anyone else search, check, review, research, appraise, truly value these cards aside from the several I pulled out at random just prior to and for the pics for this ad. In addition to this I again have no freaking clue what any Magic Cards are worth these days especially if there are decades old originals in here which I am assuming there are maybe the one that might be in here is the one like the Dragon card I ripped to shreds as a kid that was worth like 20 bucks back then. Hundreds now maybe? For all I know I should be getting these officially sent away to the offical appraisal services that encase them all in clear epoxy and grade them then stamp them and for several hundred dollars mail them back in velvet bags. And there is a card in this converse shoe box worth 5 grand, I really don’t know even if I checked all of them. But ultimately I don’t want to sell them to a card game shop owner who rips me off. I haven’t checked the value of the ones I looked at. I want these to end up with an honest collector legit.
