WAS $1200 Now $1000 According to the serial number 161XXX, it puts the date of manufacturing to 1902, crescent butt plate, semi-buckhorn rear sight, all original except rear sight elevator is a replacement. Round 26" barrel, dark bore, good rifling, approx. 20% plum finish remains with lacquering on some of the metal. Dark walnut forend & stock (original) with the stock having a small piece missing from the left side and about a 1.25" old crack on the wood right side both near the bottom of the tang/guard (pictures are attached) but stock is still mounted solid to the tang. Action is still quite tight for it's age and old sling swivels had been added to the rifle at some point in it's younger years. Must have valid PAL to purchase and will be verified. This is a 1940 Ishapore made No 1 MK111 ( not a MK111*) with mag cutoff and period correct RFI stamped bayonet. The hardware and wood set is good to excellent condition ( for an 84 year old rifle) and as far as I can tell, completely original from the factory. Bolt, receiver, Barrel, rear sight and nose cap are all matching numbers. The magazine isn't matching numbers but is RFI stamped. The bayonet is the short 12 inch "Indian Pattern" which I believe is a 1943 made bayonet. There are some visible repairs to the butt stock, maybe field repairs or post military use - I don't know. I can't make out the markings on the underside of the butt stock but it doesn't appear to be English or Latin script, possibly Punjabi, Bengali or Burmese. The barrel is probably nearing the end of it's life but I have taken this rifle to the range numerous times and it shoots fine with pretty good accuracy at 100 yards. I didn't really want to sell this one as it's a great historical piece, but I need to reduce the amount of Rifles and spare parts I have. I got this bow as a gift last year. Its a LEFT HANDED Mathews 33 Lift. I was told this is a top-of-the-line. It’s literally brand new. I’ve only shot it maybe half a dozen times getting it set up and trying to get it sighted in at Jim bows, and haven’t shot it since then. Ive spent an additional $750.00 on the 5-sight, 5 arrows and arrows guide? and whatever else one would get on it. The arrows are 100g? If that makes sense? They told me the broadheads i would have to get would be 100 gram? My knowledge of compound bows is limited as you could probably tell. I’m a rifle man. The reason why I’m selling it? It Turns out an old injury on my left shoulder needs surgery so I’m not able to draw it back and hold it, so there’s no point in keeping something I can’t use. All original and free of repairs,cracks,gouges or missing wood.The usual few bruises and usage wear to be expected with a 107 yr old Canadian Naval Historical Rifle. All the proof marks,and barrel address are clearly legible,all screws are sharp and have not been tampered with. The 20” carbine barrel ore is very clean with VG+ rifling,some light scratches on the receiver,with no metal pitting. Original blueing can be seen around the saddle ring and on both sides of the receiver and on the barrel and magazine,with an aged plum patina covering the rest of the metal. This is a functional scarce and unique Antique Galand Model 1868 single and double action Revolver. Designed for 7 mm Perrin which gives it antique status, this revolver happens to accept the nearly identical .32 S&W short cartridge which can be reloaded at a low cost, and can even be made from cut down .32 S&W Long brass. There are very few antiques that will accept this caliber, so this is a lucky find. Unlike most antiques which are big and heavy, this is a small frame and compact revolver which still shoots a reliable round. Overall length is 7 inches. Mechanics are fair, with a working action in both single and double action. The hammer is strong and indexing is reliable. The rifling is still strongly defined down the 3" barrel, with evenly scattered patches of inactive oxidation from black powder use. The Galand patented mechanism involves a very unique lever which pulls the barrel and cylinder straight forward while ejecting spent shells. All components of this work fine. As a revolver that's a century and a half old, some wear and wiggle is evident in the lever and hinge mechanism, but it still works consistently and properly. Visually this revolver has an even gray/blue surface with some bits of lustre showing beyond the aged patina. No significant pitting is evident, though scattered dings and scratches are present. The grips are solid, with the left one showing an old crack that could be pretty easily stabilized and closed back up. No PAL, 18+ Ships Canada Check my ads for more antiques.
