Canada more than 400 years of History in famous paintings collection portfolios from 1967. These Government sanctioned reproductions are beautifully displayed with descriptive footnotes in French and English on a format of a thick papered canvas material. Portfolio's 1 and 2 contain the full collection of ( 42 ) wonderful paintings by notable Artists the likes of : JD Kelly, Rex Woods, HB Goodridge, Bruce Stapleton, Thomas Mitchell, Don Anderson and Vernon Gould. Many of the scenes depicted have long been out of print. This is a collectible pictorial history of Canada's Confederation, all ( 42 ) prints remain in mint condition, the covers have some wear. When I was a home owner these were all framed and hanged, and I purchased these at a Government auction 35 years ago. Would like to sell to someone that has the wall space to display this great conversation piece. Can deliver within 100kms.

Selling/trading an 1862 Enfield Snider Conversion in .577 Snider. Overall it's in nice shape. 30" barrel, 2 band. Steel is all in nice shape throughout, has a turned to a nice patina. Wood stock looks to have been stripped but still retains its original markings, just a bit more faint now. Bore is in very nice shape, crisp and clear with good rifling. Missing cleaning rod. Selling as i have less time to shoot rifles and this one deserves to go to someone who will shoot it. I know there is varying reviews on these conversions. My understanding is most (possibly all) were done by century arms and some cycled and some did not. Do your own research please. This one has cycled 125rds of the lake city ammo for me and I don't recall any failures. Both mags did work. Can't guarantee any other ammo as I only tried the one. At the time I acquired this rifle the original scopes were either unavailable or very expensive. I found the vomz played the part. The front is attached with an original ring and a bushing. The back I had to make a scope ring to clamp the back in place. It's machined aluminum painted black. There is just enough room to slide the scope on and off its rail without having to remove the scope from the mount.
