Here is a very good overall condition stepped barrel,  hex receiver Sako M24 Mosin from 1924. No rust or pitting anywhere. Stock is also very good with very few marks for its age. Bore is in excellent condition.  I recently took this rifle on trade from another collector. He took very good condition of this particular rifle. Rifle comes with adjustable sling. See pictures matching numbers, barrel and bolt.  Sako, which produced these in the 1920s as part of the Civil Guard’s arsenal. The 1924 date fits perfectly as the start of M/24 production, and the serial number 17266 is consistent with early examples. These were based on captured Russian M1891 actions, often with new barrels (you can see a stepped barrel from the photos), and saw use in WWII during Finland’s conflicts with the Soviet Union (Winter War and Continuation War). Look at this early war survivor! The Stock matches the breach as well as the bolt! You don’t see that too often! This is a two groove barrel in good condition nice and clean. Also comes with a Canadian C broad Arrow 1942 marked original sling. The stock is in very good condition. However, the wrist does have a small armoury repair. This is a WWII-era British military wrist compass (officially designated “Compass, Survival, Wrist Type,” Air Ministry Ref. No. 6B/2593), issued primarily to RAF aircrew (pilots and navigators) as part of escape and evasion/survival kits, but also widely used by British airborne forces, paratroopers, SAS, SOE, and commandos. Key Features •  Blackened metal case (brass or steel) with a hinged hunter-style lid containing a mirror (for signaling). •  Dry-card design (non-liquid/air-damped compass card – no fluid visible, with a floating card that settles more slowly than liquid-filled types). This metal sign for the Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst or RAD), specifically the "Arbeitsdank" (Labor Thanks) organization. The RAD was a major paramilitary organization in Nazi Germany established to reduce unemployment, militarize the workforce, and indoctrinate it with Nazi ideology. The Arbeitsdank was a welfare organization within the RAD, providing assistance to members who were injured or in need. All RAD members were required to contribute to the Arbeitsdank. The sign features the RAD emblem: a shovel and two stalks of wheat, overlaid on a shield with a swastika. The words "ARBEIT" (work) and "DANK" (thanks) are written in a circle around the emblem. This symbol represented the RAD's mission to instill respect for manual labor and promote physical fitness. The motto "Arbeit adelt" ("work ennobles") was used to promote the RAD. The RAD was established in 1935, and service was compulsory for young German men for six months. The organization was divided into sections for men and women.
