Original Brazilian Mauser M1908 WW1 Bayonet by W K & CIE Solingen Germany with Scabbard and Frog Used with the 7mm Brazilian Mauser Model 1908 The blade is marked W.K.&Cie Solingen. The Guard and Scabbard hook are stamped with matching serial numbers, M935. There is a B stamped on the left side of the pommel as well as on the back of the blade just in front of the guard. These are the Brazilian Inspector Proofs. The Release Button works as designed. French Chassepot Model 1866 Yataghan Sword Bayonet This Yataghan Sword Bayonet and Scabbard have matching Serial #’s (M 8093) Manufactured at the French State Arms Plant of St. Etienne in August 1871 The base of the blade on the left side has the number 1 immediately above the guard. French Model 1874 T Back Sword Bayonet for use on the 11mm M1874 Gras rifle Manufactured at the French State Arms Plant of Tulle in August 1878 The Gras was the last of the French sword type bayonets and was manufactured from 1874 until about 1885. The Bayonet and Scabbard have matching Serial numbers 96363 The left side of the guard is engraved with what looks like half a written L and the numbers 96363.  The scabbard has the same mark and numbers on the left side. Above the number on the guard are 2 diamonds each with the letter B in them. The front of the guard just above the top of the blade has the letters L and P The pommel has the number 2 stamped inside at the base along with other stamps I have not identified. The top of the tang has what looks like a C6 stamped in it. The back of the blade is engraved with M d’Armes de Tulle Aout 1878   The Spring Lock works as designed.   Overall Length – with blade in scabbard  - 25 7/8” Length of Bayonet – 25 3/8” The blade has never been sharpened. This is a WWII-era British military wrist compass (officially designated “Compass, Survival, Wrist Type,” Air Ministry Ref. No. 6B/2593), issued primarily to RAF aircrew (pilots and navigators) as part of escape and evasion/survival kits, but also widely used by British airborne forces, paratroopers, SAS, SOE, and commandos. Key Features •  Blackened metal case (brass or steel) with a hinged hunter-style lid containing a mirror (for signaling). •  Dry-card design (non-liquid/air-damped compass card – no fluid visible, with a floating card that settles more slowly than liquid-filled types). Close-up photo clearly shows the dry floating card (white/silver with black markings, no damping fluid or bubbles), distinguishing it from the more common liquid-filled variants of the same model. These were produced from the early 1940s through the post-war period (your serial/year code suggests 1950s–1960s production). It is Canadian Unit marked 20 BH D(?) which is the 20th Border Horse, a militia Cavalry Regiment from Pipestone Manitoba / SE Saskatchewan.
