Selling my Sako 85 Carbonlight chambered in .308 Winchester with a 20” stainless fluted barrel. This is a true ultralight mountain rifle built around the Sako 85 stainless action and carbon-fibre stock. It weighs 5 lb 7.7 oz with the Talley rings/bases and Sako sling studs installed, and 6 lb 7.1 oz with the Swarovski Z3 4–12x50 mounted. Approximately 180 rounds fired. It has proven very accurate with a variety of ammunition, including 165 gr Hornady GMX, 180 gr Barnes TTSX, 165 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip and 168 gr Hornady BLACK A-MAX. The trigger was professionally adjusted by Corlane Sporting Goods to approximately 1.8 lb. Included with the rifle: Talley 1” lightweight rings, professionally aligned, trued and lapped Spartan Precision Javelin magnetic bipod adapter flush-mounted into the fore-end Detachable Sako magazine Original Sako box Sako sling studs The deteriorated original soft-touch exterior stock coating has been removed and the stock exterior refinished while retaining the carbon-fibre appearance.
