I rescued my dog Kia with my ex in 2023 and at the time she was 4 years old. She’s a high needs and high energy, would be most ideal as the only pet to start with. She’s does get along with 2 out of 3 of cats. She is iffy at times with other dogs or they are her friend she can be a bit unpredictable with socializing. She is most bonded with me, my son was recently diagnosed with autism, which takes most of my attention. We have also decided for financial reasons we are downsizing into a small home. She’s a good dog just too much for me to continue on with her as she deserves to have the best life. And despite her size she thinks she’s a lap dog and doesn’t like to be outside for too long. I love her so much and I’d be too scared to surrender her back to the humane society as I’m worried she’d be put down or never adopted as I was the third person to adopt her as again she has a lot of energy. I’m not just willing to give her to just anyone but my hopes is to find her a perfect home that I can’t give her.
