The box is indented stamped TYPE 315H on the bottom edge on the inside of the door. The inside of the door has complete wiring schematic. The back panel also is marked 315 H. Metal crank on the right outside side of the box. The CHROME bells ring when cranked, The box is in great shape. The front cover has a decal “THE NORTHERN ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING CO LTD” . The decal is showing its age. It is readable & recognizable and is in great shape for its vintage. The volume is adjustable by moving bell arms closer or farther from the clapper's resting position. Magneto appears to be in great condition. There is no apparent mold or mildew on the cloth wiring, winding insulation or wooden cabinet, Gongs & Ringer. Measures approximately 9 x 7 x 6 1/2 inches. Here is a U.S. model 1917 Trench Knife made by American Cutlery Company displayed with a U.S. model 1917 Helmet. This item still retains much of its original finish. The grips have a few minor dings with no cracks. The 9” triangle blade has one noticeable ding that would be consistent with a defensive block and one small area of pitting on two sides of the blade. The First World War brought along many advancements in firearms and armour but with that being said often the taking of trenches involved brutal hand to hand combat. Very often soldiers would find the trench battle too tight of quarters to use their rifles and would switch to knives, clubs, shovels and anything else that would give them an edge in hand to hand combat. This is a Rare Antique Remington Early Production Type I, A.K.A. The Double Derringer. Remington produced around 150000 model 95’s between 1866 and 1935. There were only around 1600 produced before the addition of an extractor. Making this one the hardest to find for collectors. This type is marked “E.Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” on one side of the barrel rib and “Elliot’s Patent Dec. 12, 1865” on the other. Later models would see the addition of an extractor and the barrel address moved to the top rib. This has a 3” barrel, is chambered in .41 rimfire and has a spur trigger. There are a a few light handling dings and almost no original finish left. The grips are in fine condition. Mechanically it is still very strong with the action working and cycling as it should. The hinges are intact. There is a slight play in the lock up which would be a fraction of a millimeter. These were carried by many people in the Wild West as they were easily concealed. Wild Bill Hickok is said to have carried a pair of these at times. This would make a great addition to a Remington collection and could be the centre piece to any collection. this is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Stock barrel, two barrel bags, two barrel cleaners, parts kit with screws and o-rings, multi tool, Allen keys, o-ring picks, crescent wrench, teflon tape, and anti-fog lens cleaner. With the setup I will include the three- 20Oz CO2 cylinders. No idea when they expire, no idea if they’re good or not. Could be all you need for the setup to be functional.
