1974 Ski Doo Elan 250
the sled shop i bought it from put wrong track on it, track is a 78 SS 300 track thats longer,so i added some extra track tensioners on it,, is ok now,the motor is from a 72 i have that goes with it so does the original Tilotson carb that needs rebuilding ,just installed a newer 78 style gas tank i got from local sled shop..it will need the complete steering assembly from the 72 ignition doesnt fit in the 74..74 hood is no good,i tryed patching it.. the 72 hood isnt as bad,,needs the lower part cut out of the 74 and riveted in the 72 hood. lights are included.seat with storage box is nice shape Good Skies are from a Olympic..message me for phone no.i wont reply to stupid questions like can i have the PM report? its a 51 yr old snowmobile???????Motor has great compression and good spark. wire harness is complete w ignition and headlight and tail light wires. Last picture is a new fibreglass hood sold in Edmonton for $535 ( not included)
