Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Crop Production Advisor (Temporary) is accountable to meet and exceed annual sales goals and profit margin objectives of Nutrien Ag Solutions products and services. This position is will last approximately for a 12 - 16 month term. What you will do: Develop and maintain effective business relations with current and potential customers, based on an approach to target customers that would result in a profitable business relationship Provide agronomic information and advice to current and potential customers – arranging for access to specialists and learning opportunities where necessary Conduct soil, tissue, weed, pest, and water analysis to recommend best practices for soil fertility management to customers Research and respond to technical inquiries Maintain and analyze a database/record of customer profiles (product usage and service requirements) to identify, categorize, and prioritize customer base Communicate a variety of information and recommendations to staff and customers Maintain knowledge of Nutrien Ag Solutions product offerings, including features, benefits, and uses Champion Nutrien’s culture of care and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory, and EH&S standards What you will bring: 5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business and/or other related customer service function Post-secondary education in Agriculture; equivalent in experience may be considered 2+ years of sales experience Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license CCA or P.Ag. accreditation, or ability to obtain

This is an extremely demanding and labor-intensive position in a construction environment; resilience is a must. All candidates are given the opportunity to take part in a 1-2 hour “Ride Along” with an experienced Concrete Pump Operator. This is to ensure candidates can see the position and the working conditions. · Drive a concrete pump truck to and from construction sites located throughout the Southern Alberta Area · Evaluate the site conditions and set-up the truck appropriately · Uses and cares for tools and equipment associated with and including the concrete pump and truck · Operates the boom and pump as required to place concrete in the desired locations · Loads and unloads concrete pumps and attachments · Complies with safety regulations and precautionary measures while operating the concrete pump - protects self and others by following work safe procedures · Conducts routine maintenance and repairs to the machinery · Communicates effectively, is flexible, and discusses and resolves issues POSITION REQUIREMENTS · Legally eligible to work in Canada · 18 years of age or older · Valid AB driver's license - Class 3 with Air brakes or Class 1 - clean driver record · Must be mechanically inclined - basic mechanical knowledge/skills · Ability to lift objects exceeding 50 lbs (23 kg) · Must be detail oriented with attention to cleanliness and care of equipment · Willingness to work flexible hours with varying start/finish times including Saturday shifts (at times required to work long hours) · Must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner · Depth perception, hand-eye coordination and a keen awareness for your surroundings are mandatory · Must have proper personal protective gear (steel-toe boots) Submit resume in person at our shop office Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm located at 201040 HWY 512, Lethbridge County or submitted to jbcpumping@gmail.com We would like to thank all applicants to this position.
