Mossberg 590A1 “Blackwater” Special Edition

a limited collaboration between Mossberg and Blackwater (the private security/military contractor). It’s a 12-gauge pump-action with a 20” heavy-walled barrel, cylinder bore choke, 3” chamber, ghost ring sights, and a SpeedFeed synthetic stock. 
 barrel is stamped Model 580, but the receiver says M590A1 — this is normal, as Mossberg sometimes uses 580-series barrels on 590A1 receivers. The 20” cylinder bore barrel confirms this.
•    XS Sights ghost ring rear sight + Picatinny rail on receiver 

•    SpeedFeed stock (the compartments in the buttstock visible in Image 5 hold spare shells)
    •    Blackwater logo engraved on receiver
 “PR-MO” marked forend is a tactical pump handle with an integrated bottom Picatinny rail for accessories
    •    Magazine tube extension the extended tube below the barrel pushes capacity beyond the stock 8+1
    •    Muzzle device — the threaded cap/device 

The standard 590A1 is the pump-action shotgun of choice for the U.S. Armed Forces, featuring dual extractors, twin action bars, steel-to-steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator — built to military spec.  The Blackwater edition adds the branded logo and was a limited production run, making it collectible.
