It can be used with original 4gauge flares and also with 12gauge universal adapter for regular flares and bangers as well as with many other adapters from 12ga to many different calibers from .22cal to 9mm blanks too. Compatible with a 12 gauge universal FLARES insert. Durable all metal construction. Many sub caliber adapters available but sold separately for $120 each.
