![]() | ANTIQUE (no PAL) Holy Grail of Antique Webleys .455 Mk I★★ ** double asterisk Navy Revolver, WW1 Arsenal Upgraded Mark IV Barrel & Cylinder This is my last of 2 Royal Navy-marked Webley Mk I** service revolvers, manufactured pre-1898 by P. Webley & Sons and arsenal-upgraded circa 1915 with Mk IV barrels and cylinders - the ★★ (**) stamp beside the original "MARK I" mark denoting a second factory-level rebuild for WW1. Be confident these are up to your standards - call, text, or email for more pictures, details, and videos of operation. With barrels and cylinders from almost 2 decades after the 1898 Antique cutoff, these have some of the most modern and reliable steel you can possibly find on an Antique. Both are original .455 Webley, unconverted. As pre-1898 antiques, these can be owned with no PAL or registration by anyone 18+. Fiocchi.455 Webley available online or I can sell to PAL holders. Mechanics: SA/DA, strong hammer, airtight top-break lockup at the firing position, smooth ejection, reliable timing and indexing throughout. Navy N marks, broad arrows, and NP proofs on right side of barrel. Original barrel and cylinder serials struck and replaced with frame serial as part of the arsenal rebuild - a distinctive and fully documented British military service marking. SOLD First (Right) - SN 549XX - $7,600: Mirror bore, clean typical matte black smokey post-production finish likely applied during the arsenal upgrade process, replacement grips in strong condition, lockup airtight in firing position. AVAILABLE Second (Left) - SN 3XX - $7300: First-year production serial - among the earliest Mk Is ever. Slight wiggle in top latch disappears & locks when firing. Strong bore w. minor honest wear, clean black finish, original grips fair with small chip by peg on bottom right panel as is common with age. Can include replacement repro grips if wanted to help preserve the originals. The Webley Mk I entered British Army service in 1887 as the first mass-produced British military sidearm. Double-star arsenal examples with full Navy markings are rare, let alone as a matching pair in this condition. Buy with confidence - I don't like drama so I offer a 3-day non-firing inspection period after delivery for money back guarantee if your item is not as expected. No PAL, 18+, comes with FRT antique page, ships Canada. I do not give legal advice, and make no claims about the safety of ANY antique. Know the laws and consult a smith | $7300 | Jun 18, 2026 |
![]() | ANTIQUE (no PAL) CRISP Manhattan .36 Navy Colt style Cap & Ball Revolver, Series III Civil War Era 1861–1864 This is a fully matching Civil War era Manhattan Fire Arms Co. .36 Navy Series III, manufactured in Newark, NJ between September 1861 and April 1864 - one of approximately 30,000 produced in Manhattan's most prolific series. Serial 198XX matches on the butt, frame, trigger guard, barrel, and cylinder. As a pre-1898 antique, this handgun can be owned by anyone 18+ with no PAL or registration. All you need is black powder, percussion caps, and .36 lead balls to put it to work. Mechanics: Single action, 5-shot. Hammer clicks are crisp through all positions with a strong mainspring. Cylinder indexes reliably with tight, consistent lockup at the firing position. Factory-grade nipples clean and intact. Visuals: Smoky blue hues appear across an overall clean, unmarred steely surface. The 5" barrel is stamped "MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS Co NEWARK N.J." with the December 27, 1859 patent date rendered in deep, beautiful roll engraving on the cylinder - one of the finest identifying features of this series and exceptionally well preserved here. Hardwood grips strong and rich-grained with scattered honest dings. The butt has been used as a hammer at some point in the field leaving dings that do not obscure serial or threaten structural integrity. Screw heads fair. Bore shows defined rifling with scattered black powder patches consistent with 160 years of age. Manhattan Fire Arms Co. was founded in 1856 to capitalize on expiring Colt patents, and their Navy revolvers were so well regarded that Colt introduced two competing models in direct response. Series III guns saw widespread private purchase by Union officers and soldiers during the Civil War, and with 198XX sitting mid-series this example would have been on hand right through the war's most pivotal years. A Civil War collector's piece that still has the mechanics to back it up. Buy with confidence - I don't like drama so I offer a 3-day non-firing inspection period after delivery for money back guarantee if your item is not as expected. No PAL, 18+, comes with FRT antique page, ships Canada. US-stamped Civil War style black leather holster available for $100. ![]() | Antique (no PAL) SHINY original Webley RIC Type Revolver .450 CF / .455 Webley with 2.5" Barrel, Holster available Here is a shiny Belgian Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC)-pattern revolver in .450 CF and .455 Webley, proved pre-1893 by the Liege ELG oval proof. Designed by Philip Webley in 1867 and adopted by the Royal Irish Constabulary in 1868, the RIC pattern was one of the most successful British revolver designs of the era - widely copied by Belgian makers for civilian and export markets. Over 95% original nickel on a 130+ year old revolver is exceptional. As a pre-1898 Antique, anyone 18+ can own this with no PAL or registration. Chambered in .450 CF, the cylinder coincidentally also accepts .455 Webley which fits snugly due to near-identical dimensions. Fiocchi .455 Webley available at Calgary Shooting Centre or rustywood.ca, or I can work ammo into the deal for PAL holders. Real leather holster available for $85. Mechanics 2.5" barrel; rifling well-defined with scattered freckling consistent with black powder use Fully functional single and double action Cylinder indexes and times reliably; loading gate and ejector rod operate smoothly Solid top frame - sturdy as the design intended Visuals Over 95% original nickel - outstanding for its age One-piece checkered hardwood grip; beautiful rich grain with only minimal dings "450" stamped on left side of frame; Liege ELG oval proof on cylinder; no other markings, consistent with Belgian production History The RIC revolver was one of the earliest significant British centerfire revolvers, serving the Royal Irish Constabulary, British colonial forces, and police across the Empire from 1868 through WW1. Its reputation crossed the Atlantic - Lt. Gen. George Armstrong Custer is believed to have carried a pair presented to him in 1869, reportedly at his side at the Little Bighorn in 1876. This short-barrelled Belgian example is the pattern at its most concealable. A great piece for the British arms collector wanting iconic 19th century history in a beautifully preserved package or someone looking for a short and stowable revolver in a large caliber. Buy with confidence - I don't like drama so I offer a 3-day non-firing inspection period after delivery for money back guarantee if your item is not as expected. ![]() | ANTIQUE (no PAL) CRISP Belgian Gov't Brevet Nagant 1878-86 Revolver in 9 mm .38 with Artillery Arsenal Marks (French / Swiss Style) This is a scarce Belgian government Brevet Nagant 1883 revolver in 9mm, made pre-1893 and in top shape. It has service history, with the unit marks on the left side (4 and "A" in box which refers to the Belgian school of artillery) and the 448s are post-production gov't inventory labelling while the 33xx is serial. As a pre-1898 antique, this handgun requires no registration or other processing to buy or use. I'm selling because I don't really use it, and I know to someone this revolver will be bring more joy. It is in a 9mm Nagant chambering. Based on trying a round in the chamber, .41 magnum brass, if shortened, seems like it would work perfect with a .38 caliber round as a substitute. It happens to chamber and shoot .38 S&W short rounds if you wrap the brass with some masking tape or similar wrap to ensure appropriate headspace and prevent belling of the brass. I have cherished this revolver for a few years now but it's not getting much appreciation - I have only ever shot 1 full cylinder of 6 rounds and it was extremely accurate. According to mixed accounts from internet forums there are ways to reload the 9 mm Nagant from .30-30, .41 LC, .41 Magnum, or .38-55 brass, but that's outside my domain of expertise. I can do some caliper work to confirm case and bore dimensions if wanted, but regardless the .38 solutiob works. This revolver is in amazing shape with fantastic finish and clean surfaces. Fire-blue on loading gate spring. Action is tight and reliable single action only, which was an intentional design shift from the typically double and single action precursors to make mechanics more reliable. This revolver is nearly identical to the 1878/86 for reference. Function is incredibly smooth in SA with reliable indexing and tight lockup which will make for amazing shot consistency. I sold a Brevet Nagant in the same shape but in 7.5 mm (which took .32 Long) for $5950 earlier this year. ![]() | ANTIQUE (no PAL) Ivory Grip Gentleman's Elaborate Hand Engraved "EUREKA" British Bulldog Revolver in .44 Webley shoots .44 Russian initialed "JHP" This hand-engraved Belgian "EUREKA" Bulldog is a cut above the standard production piece. Manufactured in Belgium prior to 1893 confirmed by the Liège ELG oval proof this compact SA/DA revolver is chambered in .44 Webley CF. The British Bulldog pattern became the defining concealed-carry revolver of the Victorian era - stowable, powerful, reliable. This example would have been a top shelf model, with intricately hand engraved patterns and beautiful rich ivory grips. You can shoot slightly modified .44 Russian factory cowboy loads available from rustywood.ca - a light filing at the case mouth crimp to reduce diameter is needed for reliable fit or you can reload from shortened .44 Russian, .44 Mag, or .44 Spl brass. Pre-1898 Antique: no PAL or registration required. Mechanics are fully sound. SA/DA operation is smooth with a strong hammer and clean trigger pull. Cylinder indexes reliably with tight, consistent lockup. The 2.5" barrel shows sharp, well-defined rifling down its full length. All ejection and loading gate functions perform as intended. Visually, a showstopper. About 70% original nickel remains on a clean, unblemished surface - honest age, no pitting. Elaborate hand engraving covers the frame, barrel, cylinder, and trigger guard: fine Liège-school scrollwork of genuine quality. Ivory grips are clean and intact, bearing the hand-scratched initials "JHP" - an evocative mark from a past owner who clearly valued this piece. Light marring on a few screw heads is the only cosmetic note. A distinguished collector's piece, compact shooter, and a conversation-starter for anyone who appreciates Victorian craftsmanship at its finest. ![]() | ANTIQUE (no PAL) Hollywood Film .41 Colt 1873 SAA Revolver from Stembridge Gun Rentals made 1883 Single Action Army Peacemaker w. .41 MAG/.44 Cylinder This is an Antique, fully functional Hollywood .41 Colt Single Action Army revolver from the arsenal of Stembridge Gun Rentals - America's foremost prop gun company from 1920-2007. It is stamped with the Stembridge 'S', from the company that supplied film guns for use by Western action stars like John Wayne & Clint Eastwood. This revolver was very possibly featured in your favourite Western films! Made in 1883, this gun would have had at least 37 years of use before acquisition by Stembridge for theatrical purposes - if only this thing could talk. To a collector, this revolver's foremost value is in its history and usage, but the fact that the mechanics are still crisp and fully operable is a huge plus. I would love to see this in the hands of an owner that will see the historical, collectible, and aesthetic value of preserving this history. Please, feel free to call or message 4033610277 to discuss further. Mechanically excellent with all 4 distinct Colt clicks through the 5 hammer positions and a tight lockup. The 4 3/4" barrel appears original with a 0.410" bore, which is true to the original pre-1890s .41 colt chambering with heeled rounds (Colt later decreased their diameter to .386" making hollow base rounds necessary in original barrels to ensure the lead flared out to catch the rifling). Comes with original cylinder that seems to be resized - fits .44 Russian brass while .41 Colt falls through, and my assumption is that it was used with .41 SPL or .41 MAG rounds (loaded with black powder of course), both of which would fit in the chambers and have rounds that are completely true to the .410" bore. If wanting to fire, .41 SPL or MAG seems the way to go. I have factory original .41 Colt and .41 SPL cylinders for purchase if wanted. This revolver has smooth faux-ivory grips, and can come with a pair of stag grips also for $150 if wanted. It has an old (Stembridge era) nickeled finish which is 90% present with some flaking on high points. Serials match 93XXX, Stembridge "S" mark on frame. Screw heads are generally strong with minimal marring. The rifling is still present and defined throughout the barrel but has general wear that is typical of an Antique revolver that has seen use for over 140 years. Comes with FRT entry. Can include leather .41 loop gun belt ($250) & holster ($125) if wanted. No PAL, 18+ Ships Canada For buyer confidence, I allow a 3 day non-firing inspection window for full refund. I make no claims about safety of ANY antique | $8995 | Jun 18, 2026 |

As a pre-1898 antique, this handgun requires no registration or other processing to buy or use. I'm selling because I don't have a reloading setup to conveniently use it, but to someone with a single stage press and time on your hands this revolver will be a dream. It is in a 9mm Nagant chambering. Based on trying a round in the chamber, .41 magnum brass, if shortened, seems like it would work perfect with a .38 caliber round as a substitute. It happens to chamber and shoot .38 S&W short rounds if you wrap the brass with some wraps of masking tape or something to ensure appropriate headspace and prevent belling of the brass. I have cherished this revolver for a few years now but it's not getting much appreciationg due to the chambering - I have only ever shot 1 full cylinder of 6 rounds and it was extremely accurate despite the mismatched brass. According to mixed accounts from internet forums there are ways to reload the 9 mm Nagant from .30-30, .41 LC, .41 Magnum, or .38-55 brass, but that's outside my domain of expertise. ![]() | Antique UNUSED Condition .44 Russian European Solid Frame Single & Double Action Revolver w. Holster (+ Vintage Collector Remington Ammo) SOLD This is an exceptionally preserved (99th percentile) high quality built European solid frame revolver, chambered for .44 Russian in single and double action, made circa 1890 based on late-1800s cylinder fluting style. Everything about this revolver speaks quality to the eye, and in the hand it feels the same. As a pre-1893 antique (proven by the Liege proof mark) this handgun can be bought and owned without registration or other meddling if you are over 18. Antique suitable ammunition can be reloaded or purchased online from stores like rustywood.ca, and I can include a vintage box of Remington Kleanbore .44 Russian from circa 1960s to a PAL holder if wanted or drop it out of the deal for $150. This revolver is in amazing shape, with the lockup and cycling functioning with factory original tolerances. The internal mechanics are in top shape making for an great action. This revolver is clearly a proprietary build by a shop that produced small quantities of higher quality pieces, which was not the most common in Belgium at the time where many manufacturers mass-made lower quality revolvers fast and cheap due to permissive patent laws. I have done lots of digging and can't seem to find who the maker was, but it has the very interesting and novel feature of a frame-mounted ejector rod separate from the cylinder pin where many ejectors from this era stowed in the pin. The surface is amazing with a dusky blue sheen on the faces and original straw-yellow to fire blue hues on the ejector rod and cylinder pin, hammer, trigger, etc. The right walnut grips are in fantastic and solid condition with no notable dings, chips, or scratches. Knurling is all intact. The rifling is strong with well defined lands and grooves, though there are some areas of concentrated black powder marring. Overall a very scarce high quality built European revolver that has been exceedingly well cared for over the past 130 years. If you have any questions or want to make an offer, reach out by phone for fastest response.
